Trial Compare Study

Focus Group participants are needed for a new study into APTs.

Help researchers learn when adaptive trials work best

Clinical trials test new treatments to see whether they're safe and effective. Adaptive platform trials (APTs), like PLATIPUS, go a step further, testing several treatments at once and adapting as results come in.

We're running a study to explore participants' experiences in APTs and conventional clinical trials, the benefits and challenges you noticed, and what influences your decision to take part.

We're looking for patients, parents, and caregivers with experience in an APT or a conventional clinical trial to share their perspective.
‍

Taking part

  • - Focus groups: 60 minutes online, 6–8 participants, via Teams or Zoom
  • - Interview: 60 minutes, one-on-one online, if a group isn't practical for you
  • - Sessions run September–December 2026, depending on availability

Eligibility

  • - Patient, parent, or caregiver involved in an APT or clinical trial
  • - Aged 16 or older
  • - Living in Australia

Everyone who completes a session receives an AUD $50 gift voucher.
